Our favourite female-founded brands to discover this International Women's Day

International Women’s Day 2025 on the 8th of March is approaching, and as a female-founded brand, we love taking this day to empower and celebrate the achievements of women from around the world. This year, we wanted to share some of our favourite female-founded brands that we love, and we’re sure you’ll love too.

Like Wild Fawn, these brands have been built by talented, passionate, and inspiring women who hold sustainability and ethics at the heart of what they do. International Women’s Day is the perfect opportunity to support more wonderful women and discover new brands. Read on to uncover their stories and find your new faves.

6 female-founded brands we’re loving

Sea + Flo

Founded by Hannah & Harriet

On a mission to empower confidence and knowledge in our bodies, Sea + Flo specialises in educating women in the benefits of using menstrual cups, supporting them through the switch from other, less eco-friendly period products. Founded by best friends Hannah and Harriet, we love their focus on education, sustainability and community.

Arkitaip

Founded by Michi & Lea

If you’ve read our journal for a while, you’ll know we’ve spoken about Arkitaip before - we love the brand so much we couldn’t resist celebrating them again. Founded by mother-daughter duo Michi and Lea, Arkitaip focuses on creating conscious wardrobe and lifestyle staples that combine elegance, functionality and fun. We love their sustainable linen womenswear, and more recent homeware launches that add a playful, elevated edge to any dinner party.

BANJAARA

Founded by Ruby

Another female-founded slow fashion brand we’re crushing over is BANJAARA. Founded by Ruby five years ago, BANJAARA’s mission is to inspire a conscious way of life with handmade artisanal clothing, while empowering and amplifying the voices of the talented craftswomen who handmake the pieces. Their Maxi Wrap Skirt is a staple in our founder Emma’s wardrobe.

Palm of Feronia

Founded by Sophia

If you’re looking for a sustainable, small-batch self-care brand, discover Palm of Feronia. From crystal-infused skincare and bathing products to herbal healing remedies, founder Soph’s passion for clean, organic and earth-derived ingredients make her brand truly unique in providing wellness in emotional, physical and spiritual ways.

HWYL STUDIO

Founded by Lydia & David

HWYL Studio was founded by Lydia Buckler and David Blackburn as an “antidote to the busy lives of urban dwellers”. Offering movement practices of yoga, meditation, pilates and mat barre in their southeast London studio and online, HWYL is an inclusive, inviting community for all. After attending one of the brand’s yoga and wellness retreats last year (which was run in partnership with Palm of Feronia), our founder Emma fell in love with both brands.

frank body

Founded by Jess & Bree

Australian-founded frank body is a staple brand in our Fulfilment Manager Annie’s beauty stash. With cruelty-free body care and skincare made with clean ingredients, frank body empowers all body types, skin types and skin concerns.

Have a recommendation for a female-founded brand you think we’d love? We’re always looking to celebrate other women entrepreneurs, so feel free to drop us a message on Instagram @wild_fawn_jewellery.
