PEONY LIM JEWELLERY

In the studio: Peony Lim

We recently opened up our studio to Peony Lim, fashion, food, travel and lifestyle blogger. She wanted to create a classic solid gold band for her pinky finger and we wanted to show her behind the scenes of what goes into making jewellery. We spoke to her afterwards about the experience and her thoughts on sustainability in the influencer realm.

What was it that first attracted you to Wild Fawn?
The ethos of the brand. It felt so in tune with nature and the feminine. It really spoke to me, to re-love, re-use and make the most of every magic bit of jewellery and the resources we use to make it.

What was your favourite part of the making process?

The polish! Wow so satisfying! You really get to see the piece come alive.

Do you think it's important for influencers to promote sustainability?

I think it's really important that we all think about what and how we use the planets resources. Not only what you buy, but how long you use it for and what you do with it when you don't need it anymore. I really believe in a luxury product that lasts longer and wastes less.

What is your favourite piece of jewellery and why?

I love the 9ct Gold Tesoro Split Coin Ring. It feels both old and new. It’s organic and very decorative and super wearable.

If you want to get to know Peony better (which we really recommend you do) you can find out more here.

If you would like to find out more about our bespoke options you can see more here. We are always so happy to hear about custom pieces you want to work with us to create.
