Last Minute Sustainable Gift Guides

Last Minute Sustainable Gift Guides

Left your Christmas gift shopping until the last minute? Wondering where to buy last minute gifts in the UK but want to keep it as ethical and sustainable as possible? We have created this list of last minute gift ideas to inspire you to look beyond buying stuff to gifting stories instead.

Book an experience

Why not consider gifting experiences rather than things this Christmas? There are many to choose from but our ring making workshops are a great experience and makes for a perfect ethical gift this Christmas. We're opening our studio to host some very exciting jewellery making workshops. During our DIY workshops attendees carve and mould their own jewellery in wax, we then cast into silver (or gold) in our studio and post it back to you. The jewellery created will be 100% unique, just like the person receiving the workshop as a gift! Find our more about our ring making workshop here.

Buy a gift card

Although gift cards can be considered impersonal, why not gift one so you know the item the recipient chooses is exactly what they want and less likely to go to waste. You can find our gift vouchers here.

Make a donation in their name

Let's be honest, most of us already have everything we need. If that’s the case, a donation to a planet-friendly project in the name of the recipient might be the best gift. It’s easy to find an organisation or project that supports a cause you and the recipient of the gift would stand behind like environmentally friendly groups or organisations protecting animals. There is a lot of choice and many lists out there to give you some inspiration, this is just one of them.

Plant a tree for them

A single Pound can be donated to the environmentalist non-profit One Tree Planted and it will do exactly what the name says: Plant one tree. Their mission is simple – make it easier for us to help the environment through reforestation.

Go Zero waste

Zero waste shops are beginning to be seen more and more on our high streets, they are no longer just for food. Many stock wonderful eco-friendly products of all sorts, and generally very functional to the item wont just sit on a shelf gathering dust. It’s a win-win, for the planet and for our friends and family!
